Join us on this 7-day photography workshop and tour in quintessential Tuscany, unquestionably one of the most beautiful photography locations in Europe. We will photograph the iconic misty mornings over sweeping landscapes dotted with red-roofed farmhouses and cypress trees. During autumn, the famous rolling hills of this scenic region of Italy acquire the rich and warm golden colors that make them look like a Renaissance painting. The weather is usually mild and bright, providing perfect conditions for sightseeing and discovering Tuscany’s art cities and villages. Everywhere you look, soft reds, browns, greens, blues, oranges, and yellows melt into one another like in a watercolor painting, creating fantastic photo opportunities.

Photographic Journey

During our journey, we will explore some of the region’s quaint towns such as Montepulciano and photograph the old stone streets and ancient architecture.

Tuscany is a delight for foodies; fall is olive and grape harvesting season, local markets full of fresh produce, and restaurant menus boasting fresh truffles and the region’s best wines.  When the heat of the Italian summer subsides, towns around the country come alive with local markets, festivals and activities where you will have the opportunity to experience some of the most beautiful and delicious Tuscan delights.  We will enjoy a group wine tasting, along with olive oil and Tuscan specialties like fresh cheeses and bruschetta.

We are excited to guide you through inspiring photoshoots providing constructive feedback, technical assistance, and a fun and productive workshop environment. Come and explore Tuscany with us!

Relatively easy but good footwear needed. Most locations and viewpoints are close to where we will be parked. There may be some walking on uneven terrain which could be wet and muddy, and some locations are hilly. Good sturdy, water resistant boots are advised.

Best place to fly to is Rome Airport. Alternatively, you can fly to other major towns such as Florence, Pisa or even Venice  If coming from the UK or within Europe, you can find flights at Easyjet or Wizz Air or Ryanair.

You can get information and public transport options from Rome Airport here:

The weather can be quite cold this time of year, and the mornings and evenings colder, so warm clothes. Ideally layers that you can remove or put on as we’ll be shooting before sunrise and after sunset, in the dark, when it will be colder. Bring wet weather gear and a raincover for your camera equipment.
