Tour End: May 26th, Hotel at Rome Airport, Italy
Difficulty: Moderate
Join us on this 7-day photography workshop and tour in quintessential Tuscany, unquestionably one of the most beautiful photography locations in Europe. We will photograph iconic misty mornings over sweeping landscapes dotted with red-roofed farmhouses and cypress trees. During spring, the famous rolling hills of this scenic region of Italy acquire the misty and vibrant green colors that make them look like a Renaissance painting. From wildflowers to reduced crowds, Spring is a magnificent time to visit Italy. The weather is usually mild and bright, providing perfect conditions for sightseeing and discovering Tuscany’s art cities and villages. Everywhere you look, soft reds, light browns, greens, blues, oranges, and yellows melt into one another like in a watercolor painting, creating fantastic photo opportunities.

Relatively easy but good footwear needed. Most locations and viewpoints are close to where we will be parked. There may be some walking on uneven terrain which could be wet and muddy, and some locations are hilly. Good sturdy, water resistant boots are advised.
Best place to fly to is Rome Airport. Alternatively, you can fly to other major towns such as Florence, Pisa or even Venice If coming from the UK or within Europe, you can find flights at Easyjet or Wizz Air or Ryanair.
You can get information and public transport options from Rome Airport here:
The weather can be quite cold this time of year, and the mornings and evenings colder, so warm clothes. Ideally layers that you can remove or put on as we’ll be shooting before sunrise and after sunset, in the dark, when it will be colder. Bring wet weather gear and a raincover for your camera equipment.
