What to expect on our photo tours?

Our tours combine photography with culture and travel. We will guide you to the most scenic photography spots and take care of all the logistics so you can just enjoy the journey. We will provide information about different areas, restaurants, and leisure time options. The trip accommodations are carefully chosen to offer a comfortable and relaxing travel experience.

Are non-photographers or spouses welcome?

Absolutely! Our tours offer much more than photography – our aim is to provide a cultural enriching experience for all our guests.

We welcome any photographer from iPhone shooter to novice to expert. If you are looking to improve your skills, we are available and ready to help. We offer guidance with post processing, editing, filters, camera settings, tips & tricks, etc.

We try to go out and shoot unless the weather is completely terrible, then we will spend time inside and focus on photo processing, image reviews, and editing techniques. Bad weather is often a good opportunity for dramatic images, but we will discuss the situation with our guests prior to making a decision to go out in the field.

Please refer to the workshop/tour description page; you are always welcome to contact us if you have more questions. For most workshops and tours, all transportation, lodging, and breakfast meals are included.

Please see our Prepare for your Workshop page for guidelines on camera equipment, gear list, and packing tips. We will contact you prior to your trip with specific instruction.

We will contact you be either e-mail, text or phone sometime within the 60 days before the workshop/tour to get you fully prepared and ready. We use WhatsApp during the weeks leading up to the workshop, and during the workshop, this is the best and quickest way to communicate (especially outside of the US) and to get info out to the group.
