Each location will offer different possibilities to learn and expand upon photography skills such as composition, working with long exposures, polarizers, neutral density filters and more. We will be on location at the optimal time to capture the best light. Throughout the tour, we will offer post-production and workflow techniques.

Lake Bled has been named as one of the world’s most beautiful lakes and not without good reason – this charming location surrounded by mountains and a fairytale castle perched on a hillside overlooking a 17th century church on an island, is an outstandingly mesmerizing and picturesque place.

Triglav National Park and Bohinj is a paradise valley embraced by the Julian Alps. Lake Bohinj with its tranquil vibe, lies in the heart of the Triglav National Park, one of the oldest national parks in Europe. It is the largest Slovenian natural lake, nested at the foot of unspoiled and captivating mountains ranges.

Ljubljana, the beautiful capital of Slovenia is a top destination for unforgettable urban experiences and fascinating cityscapes. The Šiška cultural quarter is one of the most iconic neighborhoods in this small capital city. From its vibrant cultural scene to its trendy cafes and shops, Šiška has something for everyone and offers a perfect canvas for street photography.

Relatively easy but good footwear needed. Most locations and viewpoints are close to where we will be parked. There may be some walking on uneven terrain which could be wet and muddy, and some locations are hilly. Good sturdy, water resistant boots are advised.

Best place to fly to is Ljubljana Airport. If coming from the UK or within Europe, check for flights at Easyjet or Wizz Air.

The weather can be quite mild this time of year, but the mornings and evenings cold, so bring warm clothes. Ideally layers that you can remove or put on as we’ll be shooting before sunrise and after sunset, in the dark, when it will be colder. Bring wet weather gear and a raincover for your camera equipment.
